Nestled near a beautiful lake, this cozy lodge is the perfect hideaway for nature seekers. After a full day of exploring nearby trails, take a dip or canoe in the shimmering waters. the room we stayed in was tidy and equipped with a fridge and coffee maker, and the bathroom was clean. the staff was friendly and provided us with suggestions on what to do in the area. Every morning, we started our day off with a tasty breakfast accompanied by fresh fruit.
There was a bit of a wait for staff to help us with our luggage when we checked in, but once they arrived, the service was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was great, surrounded by a serene and beautiful lake. We liked that it was relatively close to Algonquin Park, making it easy to go on hikes. We also appreciated the cleanliness and hotel facilities, including a nice waterfront deck within a 10-minute walk for boat rental. The breakfast was delicious and good value. Furthermore, the staff were friendly and had a great sense of humor.
Hard to think of anything.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. One thing that stood out to me was the attention to detail in the rooms. The rooms on the main floor were tastefully renovated, providing a cozy and comfortable ambiance. Additionally, the hotel's location in a beautiful and isolated area, nestled at the border of Algonquin Park, was simply breathtaking. The surrounding nature and peaceful atmosphere made for a truly relaxing getaway.
There was not a single aspect that I found lacking during my stay. Everything at this hotel was up to par and ensured that my experience was exceptional.

Beautiful Surroundings and Delicious Food Spent Easter weekend at a hotel in the Haliburton area and was pleasantly surprised by the scenic surroundings and stunning views of the countryside. the fresh air and lack of noise from the city made for a peaceful retreat. the food at the hotel restaurant was exceptional with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. One particular dish, the short rib, was amazing!
Subpar Accommodations and Unpleasant Spa Experience Unfortunately, the hotel accommodations did not meet my expectations. the room was outdated and the bed was uncomfortable, making for poor quality sleep.
